I’m originally from New Jersey, just miles from the Big Apple. Growing up, I spent nights in the city and weekends at the Jersey Shore. I traveled all over the world and the U.S. in my early 20’s while serving in the Navy. These days, I call Woodstock, Georgia home, where I live with my husband, our two boys, dog, and Holland lop bunny.
I believe we all have an inner child, a badass within, and a person deep within our souls waiting to be unleashed. From my experience, I know that the more we become ourselves, the more we experience happiness and inner peace. It’s that simple, though it takes time and isn’t always easy.
After choosing sobriety, I got sick of sitting around and realized I wanted more from life. I wanted to experience as much as I could, and I wasn’t going to let anything hold me back. I’ve always wanted to paint, so I picked up a brush and started. I learned to skateboard at 42, embraced wakeboarding, and dove into all the things I had once been afraid to try. This journey of embracing life unapologetically led me to become a coach, helping women transform their relationship with alcohol, rediscover their power, and live freely.
For over 8 years, I’ve been teaching yoga and hosting life workshops, guiding individuals toward greater self-awareness and personal growth. I’ve also had the privilege of hosting and leading creative and mindfulness workshops for sober communities, using art, yoga, and mindfulness as tools for transformation and healing.
Art has always been a powerful tool for me in this journey. It speaks to that deep truth within, even when we can't quite understand it. It’s a nudge, a gravitational pull, a constant reminder of who we are at our core.
Through painting, I tap into my inner truth, pulling it out and expressing it. It allows me to be myself – unapologetically. And I want my art to do the same for others: ignite the soul, tap into uninhibited freedom, and give the strength to be who you are, unapologetically.
When I’m not painting, I’m exploring life with my family. We love to skateboard together, and you’ll often find us at our local skatepark, embracing each day with joy and adventure.
